1. Who we are

Droneforce LLC (“Droneforce,” “we,” “us”) operates this website at droneforce.io. Our registered agent is located at 30 North Gould Street, Suite N, Sheridan, WY 82801.

This policy explains what personal information we collect from visitors, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information you deliberately provide through this site:

  • Contact-form submissions: your name, organization, email address, interest category, and any message content you include.
  • Email correspondence: if you email us directly at addresses published on this site (for example, ops@droneforce.io, gov@droneforce.io, invest@droneforce.io, press@droneforce.io, or legal@droneforce.io), the contents of your message and any reply thread.
  • Basic request metadata: IP address, browser type, referrer, and timestamps, logged at the edge for security and traffic-integrity purposes.

We do not use advertising cookies, session-recording tools, or third-party tracking pixels. If we add privacy-preserving analytics in the future, we will update this policy and identify the vendor.

3. How we use it

We use the information above only to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and route it to the appropriate team.
  • Coordinate partnership, investment, press, or program-office conversations you initiate with us.
  • Maintain the security and availability of this site.
  • Meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not use contact data for unsolicited marketing to third parties.

4. Who we share it with

To operate this site and respond to inquiries, a small number of service providers (sub-processors) handle data on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, DNS, and edge security. Processes request metadata (IP, headers) to deliver the site and block abuse.
  • Proton AG (ProtonMail) — end-to-end encrypted email hosting for our @droneforce.io addresses. Stores inbound and outbound correspondence.
  • Form-submission processor (currently Formspree or an equivalent) — receives contact-form POST requests and forwards them to our ProtonMail inbox.
  • Scheduling provider (if a Calendly or equivalent link is used) — stores meeting request and scheduling information.

Each provider is bound by its own privacy terms and, where applicable, a data-processing agreement. We do not authorize any of them to use your data for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or a governmental request, or to protect our legal rights.

5. Retention

We retain contact-form submissions and email correspondence for as long as they are reasonably useful for the purpose you contacted us, typically up to 24 months, then delete or archive them unless we have an ongoing business relationship or legal obligation that requires longer retention. You may request earlier deletion at any time using the contact information in §8.

6. Your rights

If you are a resident of California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction whose law grants you rights over your personal information, you may:

  • Ask what information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate.
  • Request deletion of information we hold.
  • Object to specific uses of your information.
  • Request a portable copy of the information you provided.
  • Withdraw consent where our processing relied on consent.

Our legal basis for processing under the GDPR is generally “legitimate interests” (responding to inbound inquiries, operating the site) or “consent” where you have volunteered information. To exercise any of the rights above, email legal@droneforce.io. We respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We use HTTPS everywhere on this site, enforce hardware-key two-factor authentication on the accounts that administer it, keep our dependency footprint minimal, and store inbound email in an end-to-end-encrypted inbox. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach that materially affects your information, we will notify affected parties as required by applicable law.

8. Contacting us about privacy

10. Changes to this policy

We will post any material change to this policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Substantive changes will be reflected no later than the date the change takes effect.

11. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent that applicable law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
